Numbered Series

 Overwhelmed and exhausted at the amount of information available if not imposed on us everyday, I am constantly seeking a space of quiet resistance.  A place with no ties to the existing world, free from the attached meanings of recognizable objects and forms.

This place is built through the process of finding, and letting the elements interact and start to speak for themselves.  A balance of dichotomies and continual connections develops between the elements. With a composition full of precedents, the world begins to reveal itself.

By using the tension between color, line, and space as my device, I seek to create a new visual world with its own progression of language and rules.
